A tow hitch cover featuring a triskelion. A subtle way to show you’re kink, without really giving the game away.
We’ve made two versions of this hitch, as we couldn’t decide which style we preferred.
If you have a different design, maybe your own design, you’d like on your tow hitch, please contact us. We may be able to help you without any additional cost.
This is made to fit a standard 50mm tow hitch, the one found on most cars. If you have an unusually sized hitch, then please contact us, as we will probably be able to make you one to fit. The hole for the hitch pin is a standard 16 mm, but can be changed if required. If you know the pin you use is larger than 16 mm, please let us know when you order what diameter it is, and we can adjust the cover accordingly.
A tip (for those that haven’t used a hitch cover): We found with our hitch that the pin that holds the tow ball assembly in place rattles around a bit if used without the assembly. As such, it would also rattle using a hitch cover, as this required the pin to keep it in place. If you find this is the case, then we found the best solution was to simply buy a bolt from Bunnings. Most hitches can take an M16 x 75 mm bolt. However, if you go for an M12 x 75 mm bolt, as there’s no strain to hold in just a hitch cover, you can get a butterfly nut to fit, meaning you can take it on/off without resorting to needing pesky tools. If you intend to use a 12 mm bolt, then we can resize the hole to 12 mm if you let us know, for a slightly tighter fit.
